Atlantic-facing and coastal walls take rain almost sideways. Cracked render, open reveals and failed sills let it into block walls, so record the orientation of each damp wall and the weather in the days before your visit.
New windows, insulation and draught-sealing can raise indoor humidity where no extract or background ventilation was added. Note the upgrades, the ventilation you found and whether the fans work.
Cracking in external block walls in the scheme counties can point to blocks with mica or pyrite. Photograph and locate the cracks precisely and leave testing and categorisation to the engineers working under the grant scheme.
Missing seals at baths and showers, gaps at window boards and unsealed service penetrations look cosmetic at handover but can let water into new timber and plasterboard. Flag them clearly on the snag list.
