DampApp Pro is purpose-built for independent damp and timber specialists conducting moisture investigations. PropertySurvey Pro is a broader condition-reporting tool for residential and commercial surveyors, inspectors and other property professionals. HousingSurvey Pro is the separate management platform for housing associations, councils and their contractors running stock-wide cases, work orders and integrations.

DampApp Pro can organise dated observations, selected photographs, assessor-entered HHSRS information and an editable planning timeline when an independent surveyor is instructed on a relevant case. Awaab's Law currently applies in phases to prescribed hazards in English social housing; the private-rented-sector timetable remains to be set. The app supports evidence capture and reporting but does not certify compliance.

The apps contain region-aware reference material and prompts for frameworks relevant to the selected survey, including moisture, ventilation, HHSRS and home-survey reporting references. A standard should be cited only when it genuinely applies to the observed defect and instruction. Generated wording can be wrong or outdated, so the surveyor must check the current source, edition and applicability before issue.

No. PropertySurvey Pro records EPC band observations and includes them in condition reports, but it does not produce legally valid EPC certificates. In the UK, valid EPCs must be produced by an accredited domestic energy assessor using approved SAP software and lodged on the national EPC register (epcregister.com).

Core survey capture and on-device PDF export work offline. Signed-in users can sync eligible records when a connection returns. AI-assisted wording and online data lookups require a connection; voice transcription availability depends on the device's speech-recognition service.

Both apps can use Google Gemini or OpenAI for optional AI-assisted wording. Trial or plan allowances may be available, and Pro users can add their own provider key in their account profile. Relevant field text, and a photo only when the user requests photo analysis, is sent to the selected provider. The result is editable draft wording: the surveyor must verify every statement and reference before export.

Survey work is stored locally first; eligible signed-in records can also sync to the user's authenticated Firebase account. When an AI trial or plan allowance is used, the requested text or selected photo passes through a ProSurvey Apps cloud function to the chosen provider. With a supported bring-your-own key, the app sends the request to that provider. The privacy policy explains the applicable processing and retention; do not submit content you are not authorised to share.

Yes. Both apps generate PDF reports on the device using the sections, observations, selected photographs, readings and reviewed wording included by the surveyor. The resulting file can be shared from the device; no desktop report assembly is required.

Yes. Tap the microphone on a supported narrative field to use the device's speech-recognition service and append the transcription to your editable notes. Speech processing depends on the operating system and its settings; the apps store the resulting text rather than adding an audio recording to the survey.

Signed-in users can opt in; the setting is off by default. Finding records store only an enumerated type, severity, approved indicator tags, a meter-reading flag and selected country or market. Names, addresses, photographs and survey prose are discarded, and a short-lived pseudonymous counter limits abuse. Public aggregates are withheld until the disclosure threshold is met.

Product updates are delivered through the App Store and Google Play. Access to individual modules, cloud services and AI allowances depends on the current free or Pro plan shown in the app.

The optional Pro subscription (with a free trial via the stores) unlocks cloud sync, the full AI and white-label branding.
